ITOM Discovers a CI as an IP Switch but lists the Model Category as a Linux Server

Hi ITOM Users,

I am hoping you can provide some insight. We have ITOM discovering our Cisco call center environment. Discovery is identifying CIs as IP Switches; however, in the Asset field, it is defined in the alm_hardware table with a Model Category Linux server. In this case, it should be defined in the server table as a Linux Server. Is there something on the ITOM side that needs to be configured to define the CIs appropriately, or is there something on the Cisco side that needs to be defined? I'm attaching example screen prints; the names and IPs have been blocked for privacy reasons.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Again, 

I am hoping someone can provide assistance with the above.  I decided to manually create a Server CI in our DEV environment to see if the system would note as a duplicate and the new server CI record that I created does in fact now state that this record is a duplicate of the IP Switch record.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
