we have all the setup configured for Openshift discovery, I have got the service account redy, bearer token ready, does any have the idea to setup the configuration,

Hi Ragav,

URL, credentialalias and namespace you enter in the "Discovery Pattern Launcher Parameters" related list are passed as parameters to the kubernetes pattern. From your last sentence "

 We entered the url for the cluster, credentialalias created in the 2nd step and for namespace we entered * . 

The URL was not  entered as the above steps didn't mention to create an URL. " I did not understand part about url. Did you enter the url of the cluster?

I have th URL with me , where do i put the URL, I have the discovery pattern launch parameters as mentioned

Namespace

URL

Credential Alias

The value I can see as empty, Can I enter the URL in the value?

Could you please share your email address so that I can share few screen shots and further on this ?

So this is the way you configure it/

URL have a format : example_hostname:example_port or example_ip:example_port.

I have put the URL  as provided from the Openshift guys

then in namespace do I have to mention the value as  " * "

What about credential allias , what is that been used for ?

Thats right, URL in URL as provided by the guys.

namespace you can keep * or comma seperated list.

Then credentialsAlias you need to create :

and then add that alias there.
