Hi Experts,

I want to learn service now from the beginning . Could someone please suggest from where should I start ?

I want some links to guides, documents, vedios   which could help me get started.

Please suggest how to do some practical exercises (installation, etc). Also is there certifications available for service now ?

Regards,

Vivek

First things first. I suggest to start with Foundations course, It's free and can teach you the basics of ServiceNow ServiceNow Online Learning CoursesThe second thing to do is the system administration course.

Hello Vivek,

In my opinion the best place to start is ServiceNow admin training. Unfortunately this is a paid training and not available online. If you search for the admin training in youtube, you will get some hits and may help you little bit.

The other option is to familiarize youself to how some of the main module works in ServiceNow such as Incident, change, Catalog, problem, CMDB and etc look at wiki as to how you can customize these   modules.

I added a link that has some videos available. I am sure you are aware of ServiceNow wiki site.

Thanks, Faisal

Thanks Faisal and Jesus for your help. I will go through these to get started.

Is there any guide available to learn service now or any kind of documentation other then online help ?

I am basically looking on how to setup a test instance so that I can practice while going through the study material.

Is it possible to set up such instance without any cost?

.

Thanks,

Vivek
