List of Physical & Virtual Servers

Does ServiceNow provide a list of what they consider to be physical and virtual servers?

The reason I ask is because I understand thats how Discovery is licensed and I want to see how many we have.

On the first link, yes that looks all in line. For the second the only hitch I see there is 'windows discovery'. Server OS's are absolutely included but desktops are dropped in above cmdb_ci_server into cmdb_ci_computer so they would not count.

Remember for absolutes, talk to your Account Manager for your agreed upon licensing. But between you me and this here fencepost, they are doing the same if not very similar queries... 🙂
