Mid server logon failure

Hi.. Am getting an error like "Unable to start the service now mid server service. The service did not start due to lonon failure (0x42d)" while starting the mid server service. If anyone have faced this issue kindly explain me the problem

It took me a while to get this working the first time, but here's a few troubleshooting tips.
In the config.xml file on the MID server itself, double check the user name and password for the user account used to authenticate the connection. Go back to your Service Now instance, then check:
- User name and password are correct.
- The LDAP Server field is empty (assuming you have set up a local account in SNOW for your MID Server to use).
- The user account has the "mid_server" role attributed to it.
Let me know how you get on, otherwise we can look at some other options.

Thanks Adam. There was a service already running in that server. I uninstalled the service and started again.. Its working fine now

Looks like you are trying to have the midserver run as a user... those credentials are incorrect or need to be reset

Yes right Doug. I started it as admin now..
