Hi @MK-p ,
Do the following activity.
1. Create one service account and assign "mid_server" role this account.
2. Change the autogenerated password.
3. Edit the config.xml and provide your instance details along with credential.
4. Run the start.bat file. Run as administrator and wait for some time, if instance not reflecting in your instance then follow additional steps.
5. Go to bin folder and look for startMID-NT.bat file.
6. Right click and do run as administrator.
If still Mid server not reflecting then go to "logs" folder and open "wrapper.log".
Here you will logs for mid server, if any error occurs then it will display here.
Help with logs screenshot if issue didnt get resolved after following above steps.
Also you can check this blog for more information: https://servicenowwithrunjay.com/mid-server-installation-in-servicenow

Try 2-3 time running the startMID-NT.bat file. do start and stop. It will work as logs says you dont have any error.

Hi @MK-p
I assume you are not using installer rather using the zip file to install the mid server. If yes, then once you have extracted the zip, you need to ensure that the files are not blocked by OS. Just right click on the config.xml file -> click on properties and check Unblock checkbox if the file is being shown as blocked.
Usually, I have faced this issue when the files are blocked so it might be helpful to you.
Thanks and Regards

It's not about the permissions. Please check if the file is being blocked by the OS under the General Tab of the properties window.
