Hi, can you please confirm the server version on which you are trying to install the MID Server? I guess Microsoft has stopped supporting OS versions 2008 & older. So the minimum requirements for your server will be to have the 2012 or later. As a best practice, i would suggest to go with latest version that  is compatible.

Hello I have Windows 11 but it is giving the same error. Please help

hello

I found a workaround:

unpack the msi file:

msiexec /a mid-windows-installer.utah-12-21-2022__patch1-03-01-2023_03-13-2023_1716.windows.x86-64.msi /qn TARGETDIR=c:\temp

result:

subdir:  ServiceNow MID Server

file: mid-windows-installer.utah-12-21-2022__patch1-03-01-2023_03-13-2023_1716.windows.x86-64.msi

rename / move the subdir "ServiceNow MID Server" where ever you want

edit:   subdir/agent/config.xml

call:  start.bat  - it will create a service with a local system account

validate on servicenow pdi .....

From the docs:

MID Servers can be manually installed to any operating system with the ZIP file, however Windows 10 is unsupported. Unsupported MID Servers auto-upgrading to Rome create an issue record in MID Server Issues (ecc_agent_issue).
