Most recent Discovery - Empty

Hello All,

Its being observed that some of the CIs are having most recent discovery as "Empty". We did a complete scan & quick scan, both the ways the CI is getting updated but still the Most Recent Discovery field shows up as "Empty" for some devices.

What can be the root cause of this & what's the solution for this if someone has faced the same?

We are using Istanbul release.

That is my issue.  DNS Name CIs have an Update Date the same as their Create Date.

Why are DNS Names never updating?

Is the device is within the defined IP ranges and if you are having a valid credentials to discover, discovery will discuss and also mid server should be added to the accessible list o IP address.

If you are aware of the IP address, you can check by running  a quick discovery, if you are fine with the credentials.

We have the correct rights to the computer and components, which both update the Most Recent Discovery field.  But the associated DNS Name didn't

Am not exactly aware of this 🙂 what could be the cause, may be other people in the community can help you on this
