MSSQL Namespace error

maharshivadapal

While working on discovery I am getting the following error message

Error during execution of Windows command: executeQuery -Namespace root/Microsoft/SqlServer -Query "SELECT Name FROM __NAMESPACE" due to com.snc.automation_common.integration.exceptions.InvalidCommandException: executeQuery : Could not get query SELECT Name FROM __NAMESPACE on namespace=root/Microsoft/SqlServer. Original Exception: Invalid namespace.

Can anyone in the community help with this.

Hi @maharshivadapal ,

It may be a access or credentails permission issue , please check on that.

WMI permissions on the root/Microsoft/SqlServer namespace or so

Hi @Sohail Khilji

I am able to discover the Windows Server, but the MSSQL instance installed on it is not being detected. As a result, an entry with an empty name is being created in the CMDB.

I am experiencing the same issue, have you found any fix?

@DevLeoric  Not yet still working on it.
