PDB are not getting discovered through Oracle Cloud Discovery

Hi All,

We are trying to discover Pluggable database which in Cloud and followed all the perquisites as mentioned in the below document. We are able to discover the Container database and also created user in the CDB level. But PDb database are still not getting discovered. the extension section which brings the PDBs are not present in the Discovery logs of Oracle Discovery schedules to troubleshoot further. Please advice.

Hi @Suvetha S ,

1.Check is there any firewall that causing the issue.

2.Log into server and check whether midserver is up and running,

3.Try restarting the midserver

4.Check logs in server system

Also, If you are using cloud discovery then you do not need the mid server(not mandatory) check if the permissions given for the cloud discovery user have access to the db. If you are doing IP based discovery then the credentials for the db needs to be entered. If already entered then try to ping db using mid server console.

Hi @Community Alums  Pluggable database is in Oracle cloud and we have confirmed with the DB team that required permission was given to the user. In addition to that we are able to discover container databases for the application. Pluggable is not getting discovered.
