When logged in as a user with the sm_app_owner role and navigate to the service map view of an application service I can see a feature to submit a questionnaire.
- What is the business process for this?
- What all happens in the backend and are there any outcomes/interactions expected?
- Can anyone supply some documentation? I am unable to locate any in the docs page under service mapping.

Hi Coleena,
You would use the submit Questionnaire action to send some information about the given Service to the SM Admin working on the map.
For example, when they send you a question you can enter some Worknotes and also if you have any open Tasks under Reject Messages, you can close them. Submitting the questionnaire bounces the ball back to them and they can see your notes.
I don't think I can share my trainer materials here but what I can recommend is that you apply for the self-paced SM Fundamnetals course (free) on Now Learning where this and a lot of other super useful stuff is explained 🙂
Maybe this can help a bit

Hi Tomasz,
This is helpful info, thank you.
I went to Now Learning to take the Service Mapping Fundamentals course, but unfortunately, I only see the paid course. Perhaps ServiceNow removed the free course. If you have a link to it I would greatly appreciate it if you could share it!
Thanks!
