"Assigned to" field is not updating correct through SCCM for Computer devices

Hello All,
We have implemented SCCM Integration, and observed that "Assigned to" field is not updating correct for Computer devices. Could you please explain briefly how exactly assign to field gets populated through SG - SCCM. As I don't have much knowledge on SCCM.
Also, how to populate the correct "Assigned to" field for the CIs. Is it possible to troubleshoot through discovery?
Can anybody help me to get "Assigned to" field get updated from SCCM?

Hi,
What do you mean by "not updating correct" ?
OOB the assigned_to will be set to the user that last logged in on a device.

We have a task regarding software installation table, where they mentioned :please look into "pc xyz" in the software install table. It should be register under "xxx" as that's who it shows in AD. It looks the assigned to field is also showing "yyy". This is also happening for some of the other machines.

Also, Can we manually set Assigned to field value if it is empty or change the value if it has some other value?

Yes, you can update the value manually, but it might be overwritten the next time you sync the data from SCCM.
Updates from the SCCM integration is not connected to whatever values you have in your AD, so I'm unsure what you mean by that reply.
