Scheduled file import from Mid server

I need to do a scheduled import of an .xls file placed on shared drive on a mid server. Any pointers please?

There is an update set available at servicenowguru's site for this. Does that wok for Calgary and higher versions?

Thanks.

The article referenced is specifically to work around having to use FTP, as for me that's not an option at the moment. It seems to work according to the commenters, however, the Update Set download link is no longer valid.

Hi Sachin,

We have created the similar kind of the Data source for the SFTP server, but I always get the below error:

com.sshtools.j2ssh.transport.MessageStoreEOFException: The message store has reached EOF ( scheduled import job: Site Import - Automated)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best Regard,

NJ

Hi NJ,

I tried to recreate this issue but could not do it. Wrong Login Creadentials or file path usually throw a different Exception.

EOF Exception is usually caused when end of data file is reached unexpectedly during input.

May be you should check the Excel file which you are trying to import.

I am trying to get this to work we did use the file importer but it's not working with Eureka. I have no clue on how to set this up but I thought these look right i've changed them a few different times. Any help would be appreciated. If you could tell me what's wrong with the below. I keep getting errors on it finding the network. I tried the ahpap1111 which is the server but that didn't work. any ideas? I also tried the file path being just the LDAP/ServiceNow.csv too but that didnt work not sure which way those slash's are supposed to be either. I feel like an idiot trying to get this to work. TIA

Hi Wendy,

I am trying to achieve the same today.

The part where I am confused is, the IP Address 172.21.12.50 is a local IP address. As ServiceNow is on Cloud I am thinking how it will connect to that IP Address.

Sachin
