serial number is getting updated wrongly form service now discovery

Ci s class has been changing from network to switch and again from switch to network and serial number is getting updated as JAF1750BPGG_2 or _2 instead of JAF1750BPGG
There few Mid servers getting incorrectly updated due to discovery. When we tried changing them manually in CMDB, ServiceNow discovery updates them again.
User wanted to have entries for HLTWTCSR01-CS and HLTWTCSR02-CS updated and Operational for each VDC (ADMIN, DIST, WAN, DMZ1, DMZ2).
Please note that switch CI names ending with "DMZ1" and "DMZ2" are having correct Serial Numbers, i.e. JAF1750BPGG (listed on the CI - HLTWTCSR02-CS-DMZ2). Serial numbers JAF1750BPGG_2 or _2 are incorrect.
We need to default for all CIs starting with HLTWTCSR02 to the serial number JAF1750BPGG.
