Hello!
I have a question regarding the behavior of ServiceNow Discovery. Is Discovery able to find SaaS components in an environment? For example, SaaS solutions of MongoDB or Confluent Kafka.
I cannot find any documentation regarding SaaS solutions Discovery.
Thanks!

@mihai1107 There are OOB patterns to identify Confluent Kafka and information is available in the product documentation.
https://www.servicenow.com/docs/csh?topicname=kafka-zookeeper-discovery.html&version=latest
Also for MangoDB

Hello!
Thank you for your response!
I am interested if ServiceNow offers support for the SaaS solutions as well as On-Prem Solutions. For Example, the MongoDB that is documented in the links provided is the On-Prem solution of MongoDB. Does SaaS is supported as well? Also, what is the behavior of ServiceNow Discovery towards SaaS solutions, in general?
Thank you!

@mihai1107 what type of support are you looking for SaaS from Servicenow? If it's just discovering them, then yes. Discovery will discover instance of Saas running on AWS or GCP and updates back the CMDB.
If you are looking for Service Mapping SaaS, then you might need to create Connection Patterns to get them identified and mapped.

Hello! Thank you for your response! Does this apply also to Azure or it is limited to GCP and AWS?
