Setting Global Defaults for Dependency Views

Trying to determine if there is a way to set global defaults for dependency view maps. In particular I'd like to make it so that the 'Dependency Type' defaults to 'Physical Network Connections'. 

I've been unable to find a setting for this yet so hoping you all can help! Thanks

The collective set of dependencies that must be resolved is typically referred to as a dependency tree, dependency graph, or object graph.

Huh? I'm not sure how that has anything to do with my question. I'm trying to see how to set global default views in the dependency map.
