how servicenow discovery identify/detect software installed for unix OS discovery.

As we can see for every servers its showing more than 400 software installed & it seems all library softwares.

Hi,

It depends on the UNIX OS. For example, the UNIX classifier for Solaris uses a probe called SSHCommand-Solaris - Installed Software that collect the information.
