Hi,
Does anyone know why the 'Software installed' field is not populated (software installed are not listed in related list) when using ACC for discovery?
Everything else, like network adapters, processes, TCP connections, file storage, etc., is discovered, but not software installed.
What should we do about this problem? I have read many times that the SAM (Software Asset Management) plugin/application should be installed, but I cannot find out exactly which one and I could not find it in the official documentation.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @OMT
If ACC is implemented together with SAM, and the SAM Pro plugin is installed in your instance, you will be able to view the discovered software data in the Software Installations(
cmdb_sam_sw_install)
related list instead of cmdb_ci_spkg.LIST

Hi, i can see the "Tab" but is empty list (should not be-compared to our Prod Instance), but i think Software Asset Managament (SAM) is not installed, maybe is that the reason?

Hi @OMT
Can you please check the cmdb_ci_spkg.list and cmdb_software_instance.list tables
- The cmdb_ci_spkg table contains the discovered software packages.
- The cmdb_software_instance table shows on which devices the software has been installed.
