Subnet Discovery against Meraki

Totally new to service now and I am tasked with getting Discovery working to discover our subnets/networks and we are a Meraki shop. We are thinking we need to use SNMP to query the MX device on the local port from our MID server.

The guided set up in ITOM/Quick Start Discovery shows that we can connect to the router when we test router access, but when the discovery is run, nothing is returned. This process is able to reach the 4 layer 3 switches but not the MX itself and no subnets are discovered.

Has anyone had success in getting this to work and willing to share their process? Am I looking in the wrong place and should be looking at the Graph connector for discovery of subnets? We do have the Graph connector connected, but it did not return subnets, only device information.

Any help\guidance is appreciated.

Thank you.

What errors are being returned in the logs and ECC queue when you're trying to discover the Meraki?

Hi Mike. This is through the guided set up in ITOM. I am not sure where I would navigate to find those errors. When I go to the Discovery Schedule, that job is not in there. In the guided set up it tells me I need to update the credentials, though when I test them in step 2, they pass.

Was this ever resolved? We are facing similar issues.

Alexander, no we have not fully resolved this issue. We gave up on subnet discovery and manually added everything in. The asset management piece has been shared out to another team member and she is actively working on normalizing what comes in through discovery.
