 Navigate to System Properties List [sys_properties.list] and add new Property – glide.identification_engine.multisource_enabled and value should be true. And Type should be True/False.

Also Activate the ITOM Discovery License (com.snc.itom.discovery.license) plugin.

To enable Multi-Source CMDB, please verify the following prerequisites:

1. Navigate to System Properties → All Properties (sys_properties.list) and create a new property with the following values:

   • Name: glide.identification_engine.multisource_enabled

   • Type: True/False

   • Value: true

2. Ensure that the ITOM Discovery License plugin is activated:

   • Navigate to System Definition → Plugins

   • Search for ITOM Discovery License (Plugin id: com.snc.itom.discovery.license)

   • Activate the plugin if it is not already enabled

Although this is a licensing placeholder (dummy) plugin, it is a prerequisite for activating applications and capabilities that depend on ITOM Discovery licensing. The Multi-Source CMDB functionality relies on this plugin being installed and active.

After completing these steps, validate that the Multi-Source CMDB features are available and functioning as expected.
