THANK YOU! the only clear and more concise answer! as someone who is completely new to SN i had no idea that i needed to or even knew how to even find System properties list or add properties etc.... i was so lost, so much advice here was vague ... this step by step guide was amazing and a true lifesaver!

I am not able to activate the ITOM Discovery License Plugin. (security prevents writing to this field) What am I supposed to do?

1. Go to sys_properties.list.
2. Click on New.

3. Enter Name :  "glide.identification_engine.multisource_enabled".

4. Type is true|false.

5. Value is true

6. Submit.

It should work then > Validate Task.

Navigate to All > Configuration > CMDB 360 Properties

Enable the property using check box.
