Hello @KeshaviG,
Before the create credentials step should be complete because there is interlink between them.
Please refer to the link below:

If it is helpful, please mark it as helpful and accept the correct solution by referring to this solution in the future it will be helpful to them.

Hi @shaikabbas1 ,
I did create the credentials yet the issue persists. I've also followed all the steps mentioned in the referred article but was still unable to authenticate the server with the test credentials.

@KeshaviG - The most frequent cause is that the credential was created correctly, but the wrong MID Server or no MID Server is selected during validation, or the Linux training VM is not reachable from the MID Server.
If you can share the exact validation error message (for example, "Authentication failed", "No response from host", "Connection refused", etc.).
Fix 1: Select the Correct MID Server
- Navigate to Discovery > Credentials > Credentials.
- Open your SSH credential.
- Click Validate Credential.
- In the validation dialog, ensure the correct MID Server is selected.
- If no MID Server appears, verify that a MID Server is installed and its status is Up under:
- MID Server > Servers
A credential cannot be validated against a Linux host without an active MID Server.
