Task: Create iTunes Discovery Pattern (Part 1) missing process classifier

I am working on this task in the Discovery Fundamentals On Demand - Vancouver course. I created a discovery pattern as directed and the next step says, "Update iTunes Process Classifier". Looking at the discovery_classy_proc table, I do not see a record for "iTunes", so I created one:

Does this look correct? When I run discovery against the specified IP address, it fails to include "Pattern Launcher: iTunes" in the ECC Queue tab of the discovery status record:

Have you verified the classifier conditions. Does the conditions from the classifier satisfy the data coming from Payload?

Try to debug the pattern and see what data is coming and adjust your classifier condition accordingly.

Hi @Sai Easwer Tej  , have you verified the classifier conditions?

Hi @PavanBV  @Mike Hashemi @Martin Fallant

I followed all instructions, still the validation task is failing. I see pattern launcher as well.

VERIFICATION

Before validating the task, verify the following:

  • Wait till discovery against 192.168.16.11 target is completed.
  • From the discovery status record, under the ECC Queue tab, confirm a record exists named Pattern Launcher: iTunes which confirms that the process classifier is also launching the iTunes discovery pattern.

The only error I get access denied error. But, when I try to validate credentials, it passed

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

I am having the exact same issue. Also, for the task - Task: Reconfigure and Test Discovery Schedule with New Behavior - i do not know where the IP address, 198.51.12.119 came from. It was not mentioned anywhere else in the labs. Did you complete that task?

Hi @Balaji MR  - what level of access does the "itomadmin" have on the server?
