Hello, SN
I need some clarity on why the vm_instance mentioned below is not showing under the server base item. Is there a specific reason for this? We have recently noticed that the cloud devices are not classified under the server class. Why is there a different classification for these devices? If we want to show them under the server class, is there a specific way to do this?

Hi @SARANDAS KS ,
VM instances are not part of the compute layer (or Operating System layer if you will). The Instances belong to a virtualization layer below the compute layer. You need to run Horizontal Discovery to get the compute layer and that will also create a CI relationship between the Computer CI and the Instance CI.
Regards,
Niklas
