Hi @Anmol8 ,

I have tired to sum up the types below, take a look and see if it helps:

In ServiceNow's IT Operations Management (ITOM) suite, there are various integrations available to enhance and streamline IT operations. These integrations help in automating IT processes, improving visibility, and ensuring service reliability. Here are the key types of integrations available in ITOM:

1. Discovery Integrations

  • Infrastructure Discovery: Automatically discover physical and virtual IT infrastructure such as servers, storage, and network devices.
  • Cloud Discovery: Discover cloud resources across multiple providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Application Dependency Mapping: Map the relationships and dependencies between applications and underlying infrastructure.

2. Event Management Integrations

  • Event Sources: Integrate with various monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix) to collect events and correlate them to incidents or changes.
  • Webhook Integrations: Receive events from external systems via webhooks and process them in ServiceNow.
  • Syslog Integration: Collect and process syslog messages from network devices and systems.

3. Orchestration Integrations

  • Scripting: Use custom scripts to interact with external systems and perform automated tasks.
  • PowerShell/SSH: Automate tasks on Windows and Unix/Linux systems using PowerShell and SSH scripts.
  • REST/SOAP API: Integrate with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs for task automation.

4. Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Integrations

  • Data Sources: Import data from various data sources into the CMDB, such as CSV files, databases, or other IT management tools.
  • Federated CMDB: Integrate with other CMDBs to federate data and maintain a single source of truth.
  • Service Mapping: Integrate with discovery tools and application performance management (APM) solutions to create accurate service maps.

5. ServiceNow Store Integrations

  • Store Apps: Leverage applications available in the ServiceNow Store for specific integrations, such as integrations with specific vendors' hardware or software.

6. Cloud Management Integrations

  • Cloud Provisioning: Integrate with cloud providers to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Cloud Cost Management: Integrate with cloud billing systems to track and manage cloud costs.

7. Security Operations Integrations

  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM): Integrate with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) for security event management.
  • Vulnerability Management: Integrate with vulnerability scanners (e.g., Qualys, Tenable) to identify and manage vulnerabilities.

8. DevOps Integrations

  • CI/CD Tools: Integrate with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) to automate the deployment process.
  • Source Control: Integrate with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket) to manage code changes.

9. Third-Party Monitoring Tools Integrations

  • Application Performance Monitoring (APM): Integrate with APM tools (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace) to monitor application performance.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring: Integrate with infrastructure monitoring tools to gain insights into the health and performance of IT infrastructure.

10. Service Graph Connectors

  • Vendor-Specific Connectors: Use Service Graph connectors to integrate with specific vendors' systems, such as Cisco ACI, Microsoft SCCM, or VMware vCenter.

11. Notification and Collaboration Tools

  • Email and SMS: Integrate with email and SMS services for notifications.
  • ChatOps: Integrate with collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams) to enable ChatOps for incident and change management.

I believe you already have gone through servicenow docs, if not then you can even go through these Servicenow docs and helpful links as well:

1) https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-security-management/page/product/security-operations...

2) https://www.slideshare.net/slideshow/11-types-of-servicenow-integrations-to-enhance-your-organizatio...

Thanks,

Hope this helps.

If my response turns useful please mark it helpful and accept it as solution.
