UI action landing page not working in workspace

Hello,

 

I created an UI action, it is visible and working in native UI but in workspace it is visible and even creating a new record(as per the functionality) but it is not landing to the proper new record correctly.

What should I give in the script to have it landed to the new record?

Hello, you need to make use of your workspace client script. A similar approach is available here : https://xyz.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sys_ui_action.do?sys_id=586f83550fa23300f9b1cb6afa767ef6
This out of the box ui action uses the g_aw.openRecord method, you can follow the same setup for yours.

Don't forget to follow best practices and not use GlideRecord on the client side but instead follow an ajax approach for example.
