We are doing a PoC with the Agent Client Collector. Installing and connecting is working fine. But we're unclear on the upgrade process. When reading thru the doucmentation, I only see manual upgrades (Linux) and even uninstall/install (Windows) documented.
Is the Agent Client Collector updated automatically, similar to the MID Servers, when there is a newer version?
If not, how do you handle this if teams can decide themselves to use it or not?

Did you find an answer to this? It appear that self-upgrading is possible but it may need more privileges than the default ServiceNow User. It was mentioned in this video from the ServiceNow product managers, but I cannot find it in the documentation anywhere and nor can I find how to install the agent using the System Account on windows (as mention in the video). Also, I cannot see a way to testing self-upgrading since the POC we are doing is already on the latest version and won't allow us to force an upgrade..

Thank you for sharing this deployment guide.
Have you already collected some experience with your scheduled script execution script?
We now have the same challenge. Updating only 20 agents at a time manually is not really funny. And more then 100 upgrades simultaneously is also not working.
I don´t understand why there is no better solution available...
