Virtual desktop discovery (VDI)

We need to populate the Virtual desktop (VDI) in our CMDB. Can we discover them using ServiceNow Discovery?

Hi, 

No, as per my knowledge, discovering VDIs in Discovery is not supported OOB.

Also, cmdb_ci_vmware_instance does not have a possibility to distinguish VMs and VDIs, as CI Type field is not there.

We are currently discovering the VDI as part of server discovery , they are listed as Hyper-V Virtual Machine Instance(cmdb_ci_hyper_v_instance). Hope this helps.
