VM Creation via Orchestration

Hi all,

Azure Virtual Machine or any VM creation is possible via Orchestration? Do we have any Activity for that?

Note: It is possible through Cloud Management but i am looking via Orchestration.

If we need to do VM Provisioning in the on-premise HyperV environment do we still need the Cloud Management Plugin licenses. What are the commercials associated with Cloud Management Plugin.

Hi Sidkak,

The cloud management application license is not required for provisioning Hyper-V instance and you can accomplish Hyper-V VM provisioning through orchestration.  As I mentioned earlier in my previous post, there is no OOTB orchestration activity available to provision Hyper-V VM and you need to write your own custom activity for provisioning/managing Hyper-V VM.

ServiceNow has Introduced Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine Spoke last year which is a paid application could do most of the provisioning activities including VM provisioning .Please refer the below links
