Hi All,
Need your kind advice/suggestion for below issue.
Currently we have 30K VMware Network Adapter CI's (cmdb_ci_vmware_nic.list) has no relationship in CMDB.
its affecting our Orphan Dashboard report.
unable to find any KB article. Can anyone please suggest me how to remediate these Orphan VMware Network Adapter CIs.

Hi @Anitha17
I verified the same on instance and I am unable to see the relationship from VMware Network Adapter CI to any VM. But On VMware Network Adapter table you can see the reference field of CI from where you easily find out the the VM ci for which that network adapter is using and based on that , you can create the relationship in cmdb_rel_ci table as per your requirement, this is the OOB behaviour from ServiceNow.

Thanks for pitching in and helping me.
So my understanding as per your statement ....these CIs will be created in CMDB via discovery without any relationship (as per OOTB design) ..so it's our responsibility to map these CIs to required reference CI. Am I correct.. ?
So in our/client instance, you have configured the relationship manually..Correct me if I am wrong. !
