I am looking for guidance on how to model the VMware NSX components prior to it being supported by Discovery. My VMware guys is asking me to as the following components to the CMDB:

NSX Manager

NSX Controller

NSX Switch (use IP Switch class?)

Universal NSX Switch (use IP Switch class?)

Does anyone know if VMware NSX be supported in the Istanbul Release?

Anybody find any information on ServiceNow Discovery of VMWare NSX Load Balancers?

With the Kingston Release, we believe it is now possible to build a discovery pattern that (given the right credentials) could connect to the NSX manager to extract the details for the NSX Load Balancers, their pools and pool members. 

Prior to setting this up, you could get an XML dump of the Load Balancer configuration, then add the pool members (e.g. Web server and port) as TCP entry points in the service map. This is what we have been doing until we get a discovery pattern built.

I have not heard any news on when/if support for NSX will be added to the platform.

Any updates on the pattern?  Were you successful in getting the information out of the NSX load balancers?
