What fields are updated by Discovery by Default?

Hi, could you help me to know what fields are updated by Default when Discovery it´s running please?

This tells you what data is collected and where it is put in each CI class.

Depending on what you are discovering, the access, properties set etc will depend on what is actually captured in your instance.  It will only update the CU if something is changed.

If you have audit turned on in the CMDB you could look at history (as admin) of via the individual ci class dashboards.  Where the field on the field: discovery_source is set to "ServiceNow", means Discovery made the update to this CI record.

You could in your TEST instance turn on audit on a record then discover the device if you do not have audit on the PROD instance

Apart from Docs you can view the CI in - Calendar View. It will show what discovery updates are doing.
