Which Serial Number will pick up for Windows server during probe-based discovery

We have been going through Windows-Identity probe which is for retrieving windows server Serial Number.

we have seen that there are many below Serial Number types(BIOS,baseboard,UUID,chassis,system) available in this Probe to collect different serial number information.
we wanted to know that which serial number type's serial number will be picking up/updating in CMDB during probe-based discovery?

Quick answer: the UUID.

Long answer: find the discovery log of the server and step through the identification section (search for Serial Number) and watch the dynamics of the various Serial Numbers being collected and the default set.
