Windows server discover error

Hi All,

We are facing an issue with Windows server discovery in ServiceNow after upgrading to the Zurich version.

For most of the Windows servers, the discovery status is showing:
"Active, couldn't classify: No WMI connection, now finished"

Observations:

  • Issue started post Zurich upgrade
  • Server IPs are reachable and marked as Active
  • Failure occurs during the classification phase
  • Issue is impacting majority of Windows server discoveries
  • MID Server services are up and running

We would like to understand:

  • If there are any known issues related to WMI discovery after Zurich upgrade
  • Any additional configurations or compatibility checks required for MID Server/WMI
  • Recommended troubleshooting steps or fixes for this scenario

Any inputs or similar experiences would be helpful.
