Hi, is there any way to paste screen shots into the incident / service request form while creating ticket ? Lot of cutomers are asking about this feature on our side. How have you handled this apart from attaching the document?

By Crom, I think we're going to have a KM renaissance over here!

Hello Daniel,

I am currently trying to implement this for outbound email notifications.   It seems I can past in images fine as long as their is no space in the name, but something about the space in the name is causing the images to come into the email with no image found in the email itself (still shows fine in service now incident form).

Wondering if you ran into this and what solution you implemented?   With no id present on these img tags it seems I'm going to have to write some code to detect an entire img HTML node and "de-encode" the src string so that it doesn't put in literal %20 characters for where the spaces are.

Is there a more straightforward solution than this?

Hi Brian,

I'm trying to recall the final solution, but i believe we ended up with creating a sys_attachement for every added HTML embedded image.

The reason behind was that Servicedesk wanted the option to select "old" images when the used the client email function.

To be honest - Email is a work of the devil and i always try convince people to send ESS url instead (single source of truth) , but understand that sometimes email is the only way to communicate with external customers.

Hi
