Add groups to visual task boards

Instead of people across the top, I would like to route incidents to groups with visual task boards. Is this possible?

I brought this up with the product owner for VTB's not too long ago.   Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about Group assignment (in the same way we drag/drop people to VTB cards) but its something they're working on.

You'll also find its difficult to deploy VTB's to groups, effectively eliminating their effectiveness as a procedure supporting tool, unless you show everyone how to set it up the same way.   Best I've been able to do is create a Bookmark for a VTB then have business rules control the forced deployment of the bookmarks to group members that need it.

I know this is an old topic but would love to see this feature. Has it been added? I see some chatter about ServiceNow working on it...

Hopefully, someone has done an enhancement request for this idea.

Looking to be able to allow a group to be given access to a VTB instead of just individual members. We want to share boards with 00s of users at once instead of manually adding individuals. Seems like straightforward functionality that should exist.

Been saying the same thing since it first came out.  
Its a huge blocker to scaled adoption.

Agreed - its impossible to scale use of VTB without being able to have a group-based VTB.     Freeform VTB to me is just not usable out of box - I can't even assign a private task due to the OOB Task mandatory assignment group UI policy preventing it.
