Adding a report to favourites list in Next Experience interface

I used to be able to add a report to the favourites list by navigating to "Reports", then clicking and dragging the report to my favourites (the same instructions are documented here: how to add report into favorites 

I've tried pinning my favourites and clicking and dragging the report but it doesn't work. Is this a Next Experience limitation?

You can create a favorite as below(you can apply filters and then do the same)

Clearly a case of user error. A colleague has just pointed out to me that on the new UI there is a star next to the report title at the top centre of the page! Doh! I can't insert photo here due to my organisations security constraints on uploading files to websites but hopefully this description helps others!
