Avoid RITM creation

Hi Team,

We have created a catalog item for 2 teams but we want to use request and catalog task only. We don't need creation of RITM but it is default creation. So how can we avoid RITM for this particular catalog item ?

Hi @Rakhesh 

avoiding RITM creating would break a lot of functionalities and is therefore not recommended. While Request records mainly remain in the background, the RITM records are the leading and driving elements at Catalog Request Management.

Maybe you describe better what the issue is, and we check whether we can help accordingly.

Still not yet decided with requirement but we thought of avoiding RITM so I'll update you once we get the clarification

That's how the request management is designed, one should not intend to change this. But if you want for a catalog item only on portal you will need to add conditions in portal SC catalog item widget Hit helpful and mark correct if it was 🙂
