Hi Community!
There's a field on the Task table called business_duration.
- Is it still "alive" or is it deprecated?
- How is it calculated?
- Does it make use of any schedules, calendars etc?
many thanks in advance /Tommy

Hello @Tommy SN Sahlin
It's active. Yes it makes use of schedules and calenders.
To explain the difference - there is also a "duration" field in the table - this will calculation full duration from opened to resolved or closed whatever. But business duration will exclude the holiday or not working days per calender schedule and will only give that duration.
Kindly mark my answer as helpful and accept solution if it helped you in anyway. This will help me be recognized for the efforts and also move this questions from unsolved to solved bucket.

Hello @Tommy SN Sahlin ,
I would not recommend using the business_duration field.
As per this article posted before by AG, it's calculated based on the legacy calendar feature. Please use SLAs to measure the resolution time instead. They give you more control over which schedule and time zone to consider when calculating the business duration.
The Duration [calendar_duration] field, which captures the raw duration between Opened and Resolved time, is still useful sometimes.
Regards,
Robert
