CAB Workbench Meeting Notes

Hi,

The Meeting Notes on the CAB workbench - is it only the Cab Manager allowed to enter data in the Notes? All other attendees only appear to have read rights to it.
Outside of the CAB Workbench, our Chg Manager usually runs the meeting while someone else takes notes; we like to continue this if possible?

Thanks

It looks like you have to modify service portal widgets to adjust this behavior, but you can easily allow any user listed in the 'Board Members' field for that meeting to update the meeting notes.  If another board member clicks the 'Attendees' link they will be presented with a 'Host' button (if they're not the current host).  Clicking that button will allow that user to update the meeting notes.

Please mark this response correct if I've answered your question.  Thanks!

Thanks Mark, thats got us closer to the end goal but not quite there.
I impersonated 2 different users on 2 browser windows - the CAB manager started the meeting and the other user took control of the Meeting Notes.

The notes did not get replicated back to the original CAB manager, neither did the Notes get saved to the Meeting definition.

So unless you know of something obvious I've missed, it looks like I'll raise a ticket with Support.

Thanks for your help!

You should also check the write acls for the cab meeting table. If the users in question cannot write to that record from the standard form it won't save.

Yep - that worked. The Delegate I chose to impersonate to test with did not have the Cab Manager role... now she does, it works.

Thanks for your help!
