I had a requirement to make some modification in the existing workflow. By directly amending the workflow activities in the flow, Does the desired changes will capture in the updateset or do I need to republish again with the new version to get them captured in the updateset.Please help with the solution for this Scenario.

In order to incorporate changes to a workflow you need to checkout the workflow, update the workflow then publish it in order to reflect latest changes and to be able to be captured in an update set.

Hi,
To update the existing workflow, you have to check out it. do the changes and Validate it and Publish it. Once published, it will captured in current update sets.

In Service-now you can not capture the updates with publishing the workflow.
It is required to publish the workflow to capture the updates.
