can we create a view specific list control?

Hi All,

I want to hide new button, remove filter icon from the list view. Basically a read-only kind of list view. Can I use list control to achieve this or do we have any other functionality. Please suggest.

@Anurag Tripathi  With ACL I can restrict the list editing. But that is not view specific again. I want to hide the Filter icon as well so users cannot change the filter.
