I haven't looked into this yet, but that seems crazy - enabling citizen development only to then require hands-on involvement from a resolver group just to update the script section?
When I was building our catalog item templates in Catalog Builder, I was able to modify the builder to display fields that aren’t available out of the box. I assume we could do something similar to expose the Template picker (i.e., Record Producer > Generated Record Data > Template). If we can show that, we could simply create a few templates that assign the producer to the appropriate assignment group.
