Hello everybody,
I am looking for advice or feedback from anyone with experience of using Change Management for Software Deployments. This can be for End User Computing and Infrastructure deployments at scale.
In a typical SDLC process, you'd usually have a change request which would perhaps reference an affected service, and therefore are able to perform impact analysis. However I am talking about the use case where you wish to deploy a new/upgraded software version to multiple devices, then determine impact to Application Services, Service Offerings etc.
I intend to use Dynamic CI Groups when populating Affected CIs and understand I may need to enhance the OOTB 'Refresh Impacted Services' to pull in any affected Service Offerings.
My question is, does anybody have experience of doing this, do you only select the app service as the affected CI for software deployments, have you used a store app to help achieve this?
