Hi All,
In Propose a new standard change template, there is a variable - Change Request Values.
I do not want all fields to be shown, only few fields should be shown.
Let me know how to achieve this.

You could write a UI Policy on the Change Table that says if Change type = Standard, Change Request Values Visible = False.

Try using the "Restricted Change Request values" field in the Standard Change Properties.

I guess you could make them invisible in there by creating "save_as_template" ACL for change request's fields you want to have there. But this will restrict them also for all other templates for change request, not just for standard change templates.

Hi,
As far as the visibility is concerned, fields cannot be made hidden in the Change Request Values field while creating a Template. But in order to restrict the Users from selecting the values for the fields which you don't want to be updated while creating the Template, you need to follow the below steps:
1) Navigate to Standard Change Properties Module under Change Application menu as shown below:
2) Scroll down and Select out the fields in the section "Restricted Change Request Values" which you don't want to be updated as shown below and click on Update Button.
3) Once configured the above changes, if Users tries to update those field while defining a template, error is thrown as shown below for example Risk Field:
Hope this helps.Mark the answer as correct.helpful based on impact.
