Comparison of 2 instances

In our project we want to compare 2 instances i.e. dev & test to check if they have same configurations and same kind of records or customizations. Is there any way to do so? If yes could anyone please help with the possible solutions?

There is no way to compare the Instance, if you want the both instances as same, clone both from Prod.
