Hello, everyone,
I'm doing the ITSM simulator. Can someone help me with this task? Can you give me the list of actions to complete the task? Thank you!
As a change manager, I want all fields to be set as read only after a change is closed.
- Create/Modify the Security rules so to ensure that all fields are set to read only for all users after a change is closed.

Hi Gianluca,
as System Administrator, you need first to evelate role to security_admin:
Then type to change_request.list in the Application Navigator and right click on the column header and select Configure > Security Rules:
If there is no table level WRITE ACL (the second field should be set to "none") already defined on change_request, then create a new one. If there already is, update the existing one.
The ACL should have a condition on there to say state is not closed. So you can write to the record at all times except when the state is closed (see image below):
If I have answered your question, please mark my response as correct and/or helpful.
Thank you very much
Cheers
