Create a Service Request(SR) from Inbound email

Hi All,

 

I want to create a Service Request(SR) from an inbound email. The SR form should be identical to the incident, the only difference will be the number prefix. Currently in our SNOW instance we only create incidents(INC). 

Could you please guide me in setting up this.

Thanks a lot for your response. I would like to know is it possible to create SR instead of RITM.

Unfortunately No, OOTB there is nothing available, you need to go with many customizations even if that's possible.

You can check this approach as well but again not an SR but RITM
