Hello Experts,

I'm looking for a way to create a report with the below use case:

  • Incidents opened and resolved totals by application throughout the month.
  • Look at trends from month over month on the opened and resolved Incidents.

Hi @ElbertK

If you just want to see trends based on open and resolved on a monthly basis, this can be done through the report designer as informed by @Dr Atul G- LNG . If you also want to see backlog growth etc. Performance analytics is the way to go.

Appreciate your response. Where can I see the option for Performance analytics?

Hi @ElbertK ,

performance analytics is an ServiceNow application for creation of analytics report - not a single option.

When I create an additional data set - it doesn't let me edit the filter conditions.

I need to see opened and resolved incidents per month based on some configuration item.

Hi @ElbertK ,

please follow this guide to add the dataset. You can for sure create a new filter: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-now-intelligence/page/use/reporting/task/t_AddAnAddi...
