Creating a new field in a table in ServiceNow is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to create an email field type in the SCTASK table: 1. Navigate to the table where you want to add the field. In this case, it's the SCTASK table. You can do this by typing "SCTASK.list" in the left-hand navigation filter. 2. Open any record in the SCTASK table. 3. Right-click on the form header and select "Configure > Form Design". 4. The Form Design page will open. On the left side of the page, you will see a list of field types. 5. Drag and drop the "Email" field type from the list to the form. 6. A dialog box will appear asking for the field name and other details. Fill in the details as required. 7. Click on "Save". 8. The new email field will now be added to the SCTASK table. Please note that you need to have the admin role or a role with similar privileges to perform these actions.
